Day 7...Iles de La Madeleine

Smoking herring...yummy!

These fish spend 3 months in the rafters.

Multiple fires each day,  smoldering for months.

The smoke escapes and blesses all the neighbors.

Remember the masthead... here you go!

It's in French... translates to "don't be an idiot!"

Peggy takes great pictures too!

Sunsets are stunning.

Motown night!

Peggy got all the ladies up and dancing!

Day 6...Charlottetown...Anne of Green Gables

Oyster cages...1.2 million pounds a year! 28 million pounds of mussels and 44 million pounds of lobster... just from this one little island!

Scenic PEI coastline with famous red dirt.

Actual blue sky... finally!

Everyone enjoying the sea and sky.

A famous author I'm told...

Pretty cool place,  just getting a major remodel.  Many Japanese tourists since it's  required reading.

The carriage.
Sportin' the ponies!

Killin' the ponies!

Catching a theme?

Beautiful 6 mile seaside hike.

3 spires are better than 2.

Named after George III's Queen Charlotte...

Day 5...Pictou

The start of our 6 mile morning walk...

A beautiful trail in the woods by the sea.

Arriving at a lookout bench.. Elva was nowhere to be seen!

Water power on display at the museum of industry!

Water used to power saw mills.

Self explanatory!

A wonderful Hands on museum for all things industrial.  Loved the passion of each docent and volunteer.

Day 4... Halifax

All gates are open only when royalty is in town...

Wherever you looked there was a beautiful vignette.

A stunning community garden.

Tulips just starting to bloom.

All tour guides sported the kilt!

The graveyard shaped and positioned as the bow of the Titanic was when it sunk.

Pretty sweet sculpture.

Another Elva relaxation spot!

Which one is a fake masthead?
